Childhood Myths sponsored the Walled Lake Consolidated Parenting Education Fair yesterday at Walled Lake Northern High School. Well over 400 parents attended to hear Jim Fay, founder of Love and Logic, and many others speak on areas of concern to parents. This was their 20th annual fair and quite an amazing event.

We hope to be speakers at next year’s event! This year we had a table and talked with many parents, shared our workshop ideas and materials with them, and sold a few of our books! It was our pleasure to give a book to a lovely young couple who talked to us about overcoming struggles, working to be better parents, taking advantage of every program around…they gave great praise to the Great Start program that helps parents of 0-5 year olds. It’s always nice to find positive parents working on improving themselves.
We hope you will plan on attending an education fair like this in your neck of the woods…whether a parent, an aunt or uncle, a grandparent, or friend to a parent…
Remember that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!
